Description
LISA (Laboratory of Imaging and Sensors for Astronomy) is part of the facilities at the IAC headquarters. LISA is framed in the Electronics Department and belongs to its Technology Division. LISA provides a calibrated environment with experienced staff and proven procedures for serving mainly to astrophysical community, but private companies too. Main activities are:
- Characterize visible and infrared detectors and integrated cameras (from 0.4 up to 14 microns, in the SWIR, MWIR and LWIR ranges)
- To design, integrate and develop data acquisition systems for astronomical detectors and cameras.
- New detector developments (as MKIDs, analog/digital electronics or cryogenic solutions, for example)
