Professional profile
I am a postdoctoral researcher, and my scientific work centers on massive star astrophysics, including stellar rotation, winds, binarity, magnetic phenomena, and evolutionary properties of O-type stars. My doctoral research was carried out at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) and was based on quantitative spectroscopy of massive stars using large high-resolution surveys such as IACOB and OWN, aimed at deriving robust stellar parameters and improving empirical calibrations.
I am the principal investigator of the MUDEHaR project, a multi-epoch photometric survey designed to identify and characterize variability and magnetic candidates among massive stars through Hα. I am currently working with data from the WEAVE spectrograph on the William Herschel Telescope, contributing to the exploitation of next-generation large spectroscopic surveys of the Milky Way.
