  • A new free-floating planet in the Upper Scorpius association
We report on a deep photometric survey covering an area of 1.17 deg2 in the young Upper Scorpius stellar association using VIMOS Iz and UKIDSS ZJHK data that was taken with several years in between. The search for the least massive population of Upper Scorpius (~5-10 Myr, 145 pc) is performed on the basis of various optical and infrared color-color

  • A comprehensive study of the Kepler triples via eclipse timing
We produce and analyse eclipse time variation (ETV) curves for some 2600 Kepler binaries. We find good to excellent evidence for a third body in 222 systems via either the light-travel-time (LTTE) or dynamical effect delays. Approximately half of these systems have been discussed in previous work, while the rest are newly reported here. Via

  • Using MASS for AO simulations: a note on the comparison between MASS and Generalized SCIDAR techniques
Recent studies on the comparison between the Multi Aperture Scintillation Sensor (MASS) and Generalized Scintillation Detection and Ranging (G-SCIDAR) profiler techniques have suggested significant discrepancies between the results delivered by the two instruments. MASS has been largely used in the recent site testing campaigns for the future next

  • TraMoS - IV. Discarding the Quick Orbital Decay Hypothesis for OGLE-TR-113b
In the context of the Transit Monitoring in the South project, we present nine new transit observations of the exoplanet OGLE-TR-113b observed with the Gemini South, Magellan Baade, Danish-1.54 m and Southern Astrophysical Research telescopes. We perform a homogeneous analysis of these new transits together with 10 literature transits to probe into
