  • Two-fluid simulations of Rayleigh-Taylor instability in a magnetized solar prominence thread. II. Effects of collisionality
Solar prominences are formed by partially ionized plasma with inter-particle collision frequencies generally warranting magnetohydrodynamic treatment. In this work we explore the dynamical impacts and observable signatures of two-fluid effects in the parameter regimes when ion-neutral collisions do not fully couple the neutral and charged fluids

  • Transit detection of the long-period volatile-rich super-Earth ν2 Lupi d with CHEOPS
Exoplanets transiting bright nearby stars are key objects for advancing our knowledge of planetary formation and evolution. The wealth of photons from the host star gives detailed access to the atmospheric, interior and orbital properties of the planetary companions. ν 2 Lupi (HD 136352) is a naked-eye (V = 5.78) Sun-like star that was discovered

  • TOI-269 b: an eccentric sub-Neptune transiting a M2 dwarf revisited with ExTrA
    We present the confirmation of a new sub-Neptune close to the transition between super-Earths and sub-Neptunes transiting the M2 dwarf TOI-269 (TIC 220 479 565, V = 14.4 mag, J = 10.9 mag, R ⋆ = 0.40 R ⊙, M ⋆ = 0.39 M ⊙, d = 57 pc). The exoplanet candidate has been identified in multiple TESS sectors, and validated with high-precision spectroscopy

  • Time-resolved Low-resolution Spectra of BLAP-009 and BLAP-014
We present time resolved low resolution spectra of BLAP-009 and BLAP-014 collected with SPRAT on the Liverpool Telescope. The spectra were median-stacked in four ranges of phase. It was intended to note the variation in the shape of the helium absorption lines as a function of phase, but they do not appear to vary with time in low resolution

  • The TESS Objects of Interest Catalog from the TESS Prime Mission
We present 2241 exoplanet candidates identified with data from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) during its 2 yr Prime Mission. We list these candidates in the TESS Objects of Interest (TOI) Catalog, which includes both new planet candidates found by TESS and previously known planets recovered by TESS observations. We describe the

  • The origin of bulges and discs in the CALIFA survey - I. Morphological evolution
This series of papers aims at understanding the formation and evolution of non-barred disc galaxies. We use the new spectro-photometric decomposition code, C2D, to separate the spectral information of bulges and discs of a statistically representative sample of galaxies from the CALIFA survey. Then, we study their stellar population properties
