During the OJ-94 campaign the authors got spectropolarimetric observations of OJ 287. Although the polarization was very low (<1%), they have found wavelength dependent polarization using a technique that will be explained in the text. In the spectrum, they also see the [O III] λ5007 emission line, a feature that only can be seen when the object is in a low state.
