  • MASCARA-3b. A hot Jupiter transiting a bright F7 star in an aligned orbit
We report the discovery of MASCARA-3b, a hot Jupiter orbiting its bright (V = 8.33) late F-type host every 5.55149 ± 0.00001 days in an almost circular orbit (e = 0.050 -0.017 +0.020). This is the fourth exoplanet discovered with the Multi-site All-Sky CAmeRA (MASCARA), and the first of these that orbits a late-type star. Follow-up spectroscopic

  • Kojima-1Lb Is a Mildly Cold Neptune around the Brightest Microlensing Host Star
We report the analysis of additional multiband photometry and spectroscopy and new adaptive optics (AO) imaging of the nearby planetary microlensing event TCP J05074264+2447555 (Kojima-1), which was discovered toward the Galactic anticenter in 2017 (Nucita et al.). We confirm the planetary nature of the light-curve anomaly around the peak while

  • KELT-24b: A 5M J Planet on a 5.6 day Well-aligned Orbit around the Young V = 8.3 F-star HD 93148
    We present the discovery of KELT-24 b, a massive hot Jupiter orbiting a bright (V = 8.3 mag, K = 7.2 mag) young F-star with a period of 5.6 days. The host star, KELT-24 (HD 93148), has a T eff = {6509} -49 +50 K, a mass of M * = {1.460} -0.059 +0.055 M ☉, a radius of R * = 1.506 ± 0.022 R ☉, and an age of {0.78} -0.42 +0.61 Gyr. Its planetary

  • Jointly super-resolved and optically sectioned Bayesian reconstruction method for structured illumination microscopy
Structured Illumination Microscopy (SIM) is an imaging technique for achieving both super-resolution (SR) and optical sectioning (OS) in wide-field microscopy. It consists in illuminating the sample with periodic patterns at different orientations and positions. The resulting images are then processed to reconstruct the observed object with SR and

  • IMF radial gradients in most massive early-type galaxies
Using new long-slit spectroscopy obtained with X-Shooter at ESO-VLT, we study, for the first time, radial gradients of optical and near-infrared initial mass function (IMF)-sensitive features in a representative sample of galaxies at the very high mass end of the galaxy population. The sample consists of seven early-type galaxies (ETGs) at z ̃ 0.05
