Dr. Olga Zamora Sánchez is a senior astrophysicist specializing in telescope operations, instrumentation, and data processing at the Observatorios de Canarias. She ensures the proper performance of several optical and infrared facilities, performs observations for different science programs and supports visiting astronomers during observations. Her research focuses on stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis, complemented by relevant expertise in galactic archeology and participation as an APOGEE-2 Architect in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. She also works on assessing the impact of satellite mega-constellations on astronomical observations and has extensive expertise in satellite tracking. Olga serves as President of the Operation Tools Working Group within the Spanish Network of Astronomical Facilities and is a member of the IAC Time Allocation Committee.
