I am an astrophysicist Ramón y Cajal fellow on the tenure-track position at the Universidad de la Laguna (ULL) and at the IAC. I specialize in asteroseismology of red-giant stars, with a particular focus on stars in binary systems. My research uses stellar oscillations, combined with photometric and spectroscopic observations, to measure fundamental stellar properties and probe internal structure and evolution, aiming to improve how we infer ages, masses, and interaction histories for evolved stars. Alongside my research, I teach in the Master’s programme in Astrophysics at ULL, supervise students, and contribute to scientific leadership and community building through coordination and organisational roles.
