New Times of Minima of Eclipsing Binary Systems and of Maximum of SXPHE Type Stars
We present 64 photoelectric minima observations of 31 eclipsing binaries. We also report three new times of maxima of three SXPHE type pulsating stars.
New ultra metal-poor stars from SDSS: follow-up GTC medium-resolution spectroscopy
Context. The first generation of stars formed in the Galaxy left behind the chemical signatures of their nucleosynthesis in the interstellar medium, visible...
New ultracool subdwarfs identified in large-scale surveys using Virtual Observatory tools
Aims: We aim to develop an efficient method to search for late-type subdwarfs (metal-depleted dwarfs with spectral types ≥M5) to improve the current statistics...
New ultracool subdwarfs identified in large-scale surveys using Virtual Observatory tools. I. UKIDSS LAS DR5 vs. SDSS DR7
Aims: The aim of the project is to improve our knowledge of the low-mass and low-metallicity population to investigate the influence of metallicity on the...
Context: The compact association Cygnus OB2 is known to contain a large population of massive stars, but its total mass is currently a matter of debate. While...
We present VR magnification ratios of QSO 0957+561 that are inferred from the GLITP light curves of Q0957+561A and new frames taken with the 2.56 m Nordic...
Aims: We search for very small-diameter galactic planetary nebulae (PNe) representing the earliest phases of PN evolution. The IPHAS catalogue of Hα-emitting...
